Multi-Use, Non-Motorized Winter Trails at Shady Rest
The Shady Rest Winter Grooming program has begun (as of yesterday afternoon) thanks to the amazing snow this season and creative partnerships. The groomed winter trails in Shady Rest are located right at the entrance to Town and are accessed from the Welcome Center and Ranger Station, near the historic cabin. This looped experience is shared with a variety of users, including snowshoers, nordic skiers and dog walkers, so please be mindful of others and share the trails. Weather permitting, the trails are groomed 5 days a week and are free and open to the public.

Many thanks to Jeremy Decell with Inyo National Forest for helping us with all of this beautiful snow
Thanks to Kim Anaclerio and Andrew Mulford for getting the equipment up and running
Please come out and enjoy this public trail facility brought to you by the Mammoth Lakes Trail System. We look forward to seeing you!
