Season's greetings friends and trail users thank you from our whole team for all of your support and participation over this last year!
Friends and Trails Enthusiasts, the next Mammoth Trails meeting will be taking place on Thursday, November 2nd at 5:00 PM at the Mammoth Lakes Library. The Mammoth Lakes Trail System team will be sharing details about new projects with Mammoth Trails (the local confederation of user groups formed by charter in 2008) and is looking forward to your feedback on how we can make your trail experiences the best they can be.
Saturday, September 16, 2017, will be the final Trail Day event for the Mammoth Lakes Trail System this summer. Join us as we gather to clean up the venerable Mammoth Lakes Basin, honor the service of former Town Council Member Skip Harvey, and bid "audieu" to the Summer of 2017.
Saturday August 5, 2017 will be the second very special Trail Day for the Mammoth Lakes Trail System this summer, as we gather to work on and celebrate the grand opening of the Meadow Trail Connector, the second new trail in the Sherwins from the Sherwins Area Recreation Plan (SHARP). Conceived by members of the Sherwins Working Group in 2009 and documented in SHARP, the Meadow Trail Connector will be the second new trail to be built in the Sherwins this summer with a ribbon cutting at 1:00 PM after completing our day of trail work.
